
A lodge is an exclusive facility located in the nature reserve each with its own unique style and atmosphere. The accommodation consists of multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.
A cook, housekeeper and porter are always available for the guests' convenience. The lodge may be booked with self catering or with all meals.
Family chalets are self catering units with two or more bedrooms and a living area; a bathroom and an equipped kitchen. Units are serviced daily.
Single roomed rondavels with thatched roofs; two or three beds per unit and with ensuite ablutions, mostly showers. Kitchenettes with small gas stoves or hot plate, a sink and in some a small gas refrigerator. Cutlery and crockery and bedding are provided.
Log cabins are family cottages made out of wooden logs. They are found at the Great Fish River Nature Reserve and Dwesa Nature Reserve. They consist of two to three bedrooms with one or two bathrooms. They are fully serviced self catering units fitted with a living area and a kitchen. Cutlery, crockery and bedding is provided.
Tent camps are permanent canvas tent units on permanent platforms and are equipped with beds, a cupboard, table and chairs and fridge. A kitchenette and ablutions are provided while in some a kitchenette may not be provided.
Rustic abodes with multiple sleeping bunks, a bush shower and a pit latrine.
A hall with multiple beds and mattresses with ablutions. Ideal for backpackers and students’ groups.
Camp sites in the wilderness with or without power points. Water may be available or obtained from the nearest river. Normally with drop toilets. Some camp site are less wild and come with baths and showers, hot and cold water, flushing toilets and laundry facilities.
