This is an old farmhouse, which has been restored. The lodge is self catering. It sleeps 12 people and is fully equipped; bedding is included. The Karoo sunsets,
as viewed from the front porch, are not to be missed.

This stone cabin with its basic facilities,
which include four beds, a gas refrigerator and stove,
guarantees a wilderness experience. The cabin is tucked away
amongst big Sweet Thorn trees and is ideal during the hot summer
months. Lake !Gariep is a stone throw away from the cabin.

"Ihodi" is the Xhosa word for Aardvark, commonly known as
an Ant Bear. The site was given this name due to the fact
that the resident Aardvark are very active in the area, in
search of a meal of termites. The campsite is equipped
with braai places and a forestry type picnic table. 4 persons max per site.
